The mission of this project was to develop a scientific experiment that could detect and measure muons in space, with the aim of analyzing the cosmic radiation environment. To achieve this, a CubeSat and high altitude weather balloon were sent into the low-Earth suborbital environment to collect data about the Earth's atmosphere. Along with muon detection, altitude, temperature, and pressure were recorded for the use of graphical representation and analysis. Additionally, a design manual was developed to facilitate the processes of finding and ordering parts, assembling, and documenting preflight procedures. This improved the time-to-launch and increased sustainability for future missions, and helped to ensure that they could be carried out successfully.
