I chose Indiana University Bloomington (IU) for my Ph.D. in Intelligent Systems Engineering based on its renowned program, state-of-the-art facilities, and strong industry connections. The interdisciplinary approach, esteemed faculty, and vibrant campus community provide an ideal environment for pursuing ambitious research and personal growth. Additionally, I am excited to work with the esteemed faculty at IU, and to continue under the mentorship of Dr. Daniel Loveless, who is also transitioning from The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga to IU. Leveraging the resources at IU, I aim to advance my academic and professional development in order to one day make significant contributions to the field of radiation engineering.
